The Bible is very clear when it speaks about widows. From Acts to Timothy to James to the words of Jesus, it is the responsibility of his people to protect and care for them. Hispaniola Mountain Ministries (HMM) takes this command seriously. Throughout the Dominican Republic, there are many widows with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our vision for the widows ministry is to provide compassionate, on-going care for each of these precious women through the local church. With your support, we want to share the love of God with each widow by providing a consistent source of food provisions, medical care, and personal interaction.

By donating to the widows ministry, you help provide funds needed to make home repairs and provide medication for our widows as needs arise. While we do not wait on mission teams to arrive to help with the needs, often the timing works out to assist our mission teams with funding as they provide the servants.

• In-home visits, fellowship, and prayer
• Monthly supply of food
• Widows (& women) Group bible study to provide a community of support and fellowship with others in a similar walk of life
